Beyond My Wildest Imagination

As Minnesotan's, our mood slightly changes with the weather. It's just in our bones I guess. Joelle has been a light in our life as usual. It's getting increasingly difficult to get a non goofy picture of Little Narch. Sometimes we lose our patience... But then we review the pictures and find this gem! I am moving into the nostalgic fall-winter phase and feeling a bit homesick. ALAS, I cannot complain because here in Narchville we are gearing up for my favorite 'season' in Dubai. First Day June 2014

Happy first day of June! We had a pretty eventful day and I was terrible at taking pictures of the eventful stuff. I suppose I should give myself a little credit, I do have my hands full. Just to clarify. We are all sick... My coughing kept The Mayor up all night and finally he retreated to the couch for some silence. My assistant photographer took this one. We also video called our family in Lebanon but she was being a diva and wouldn't do her job for that call :) This is my attempt to mark that I FINALLY FOUND THE LIBRARY! I was so excited that I was chatting up all the librarians and forgot to take pictures inside. It's pretty tiny but it's what I have to work with. Redecorating Narchville

I am not exactly sure what my style is.... I like clean and simple lines. No frills. I like livable. Comfortable. Honestly... I have never lived in a home that I truly decorated from start to finish. My house in the Minnesota was .... we will call it 'lived in' :) I feel as though that chapter of my life is resolved. The person that I really am is very organized and detail oriented. She is also lucky enough to have a husband with similar tastes... Not always the similar ideas.. lol. but similar taste. So we have raided a few furniture stores and have done the IKEA trip twice now and we have a decent start. Starting with nothing, albiet stressful and expensive, really is the way to go. I also wouldn't say that we have spent THAT much money. We dont have nearly everything but we are living comfortably. Here are some pics of where we are currently...
